In this, our faculty will tell you about the history of Yoga in the most effective way so that you will not miss anything. These theory classes will provide you the necessary knowledge about Yoga and its benefits to your mind, body, and soul.

- History and origin about Yoga
- Study yogic ideas and theories
- Introduction to Hatha Yoga- Mudra, Bandha, Panch Koshas, Panch Vaayus
- Mind-Thought Power
- Six systems of Indian Philosophy
Anatomy – Physiology & Psychology of Yoga practices
In this session, you will cover the effects of yogic asanas in our body. We
will also include the impression of yogic asanas in our Muscular system, Skelton
system, and in the Respiratory system.
Major topics we cover in this session will be:
- The understanding the human body and its systems.
- Role of immunity and its improvements.
- Implementation of Yoga to enhance body health & functioning
- Implementing Yoga in real life
3. Asana Sessions
At Omkarah Yoga Mandiram, Rishikesh, the important Asana session is a beautiful combination of Hatha+Ashtanga Yoga. In this 200 hours Yoga course, you will learn the techniques to practice various asanas. The teachers will also teach you the benefits of each asana.
Main points covered in these sessions are:
- Hatha Yoga and all postures and asana
- Advantages & disadvantages of each asana
- In detail learning of all Mudras and asanas
- Covering Surya Namaskar
Also refers to Dhyan/Pranayama session. Pranayama means the control of your vital energy. It is also known as the control of breath. This ultimate session will allow you to control your mind with your breath. This session is specially designed to complete awakening of an individual.
It covers the following:
- Learn breathing techniques i,e Abdominal, Thoracic, Clavicular, Yogic breathing.
- Various pranayams like Kapalbhati, Nadi Sodhana, Sheetali, Sheetikari, Ujjayi, Bhramari, Bhastrika etc.
- Stress & emotion controlling with breath regulation
- Importance of breathing control and its benefits
5. Mantra Sessions
Mantra chanting is the concept of sounds and rhythm, which helps you in eliminating the limits of your mind. Mantras chanting help in discovering the hidden aspects of the human body. Mantra chanting will improve your concentration & and thinking power. In this session, the teachers at Omkarah Yoga Mandiram will guide you step by step.

- Practice Mantra with proper modulation
